IHeartRaves Outfits at Beyond Wonderland PNW There were a lot of different choices for food as well, such as ice cream, noodles, poutine, and chicken tenders. Many vendors had their booths there, so if you wanted to buy last-minute festival accessories to complete your look, you had many options. There was also a ferris wheel, which gave you an amazing view of the whole festival, and a spinning ride for those thrill seekers. There were inflatable mushrooms everywhere, a giant art installation of a rabbit, tea pots and cups, the whole venue had turned into a raver theme park. To go along with the Alice in Wonderland theme, there were a ton of art installations. There were a lot of things besides the music at the venue as well. My personal favorites from the night were Benny Benassi, Sidepiece, Said the Sky, and Claptone. And lastly, Cheshire Woods had a lot of bass artists such as G Jones, Virtual Riot, Kayzo, Sullivan King, and Svdden Death. Caterpillar’s Garden had a lot of house artists such as Green Velvet, Sidepiece, Wax Motif, and Malaa. Some artists that played there were The Chainsmokers, Said the Sky, Tiesto, Joyryde, Benny Benassi, and Rezz. Fractal Valley overlooked the beautiful Gorge, and people watching sets from the pit and the hill could enjoy the stunning view while also enjoying their favorite sets. There were three stages at Beyond Wonderland Pacific Northwest: Fractal Valley, Cheshire Woods, and Caterpillar’s Garden. Since it was a little chilly at night people prepared and brought their A-game with their night time outfits. Although the weather is usually cold and windy this time of the year, it was very mild all weekend. Beyond Wonderland Pacific Northwest had many people excited since it was first announced in 2020, and although it was unfortunately postponed due to COVID, the whole weekend felt like a giant celebration after waiting so long.īeyond Wonderland Pacific Northwest was a two day festival that happened between October 1st-2nd with a pre-party that happened in the venue on September 30th for people that were camping. Different venues and event companies around the world are taking different approaches to business in response to government advice in the past week or so we have seen clubs and venues re-open in South Korea, yet in the Netherlands, they are suggesting that large-scale events won’t go ahead until a vaccine is made available.Īlthough these may be disorientating and confusing times, we can only hope that things return to normal as soon and as safely as possible and that events like Beyond Wonderland and The Gorge edition can thrive once again soon.Insomniac Events held their first festival in years in the Pacific Northwest last weekend at the Gorge Amphitheater. With both festivals falling victim to COVID-19 precautions, we wonder how much longer this will go on for and how many other events are yet to suffer the same fate. As well as the ability to request a refund up until the 31st May, they have proposed that you can keep your ticket as valid entrance for the same events in 2021, upgrading your existing ticket from GA to a GA+ pass.īeyond Wonderland SoCal was to see 70,000 in attendance to watch acts such as Tiësto, Valentino Khan and Diplo while The Gorge edition was to invite the likes of Alesso and The Chainsmokers as headliners. To avoid chaos in the aftermath of the news, Insomniac have drafted up two plans for current ticket holders who may be wondering what to do with their purchases. However the brains behind Insomniac’s biggest events had considered it best to cancel it in addition to the The Gorge which was supposed to take place the week before. SoCal had already been postponed this year due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and was to take place in mid-late June. Over the past few months we have, unfortunately, become accustomed to festival cancellations and postponements and it appears Insomniac’s events Beyond Wonderland and The Gorge are not to go ahead until next year. Popular US festivals Beyond Wonderland SoCal and The Gorge have officially been cancelled until 2021.
